Empower is growing rapidly and has strengthened the project organization through several new appointments for key positions within the Telecom Network Services in Sweden.
Empower has recently recruited two new managers to the project organization. They both have valuable experience from other industries than telecom sector.
- Our employees are our most important resource. We have focused very much to boost up our project organization in order to increase efficiency and quality. I am glad that Kent and Raimo have joined Empower and can take this work forward. They both have a long and broad experience in project management and leadership from different industries and will bring vital new skills into the company, says Camilla Sundström, President of the Empower`s Telecom Network Division (TND).
Kent Hietala has been appointed as the new Project Office Manager since August 17th and is based in Stockholm. He`s an experienced construction engineer and systems analyst and he has worked for many years with IT projects, for example as IT manager at the Luleå municipality. Since 2002 he has held various senior positions with a focus on project management in companies such as United Spaces, Fortum Service/Infratek and Svevia. Kent worked previously as as the Regional Manager for Maintpartner`s Eastern operations in Sweden.
Raimo Kaunismäki has been appointed as the new Vice President of the TND Nordic Project Office. He has a vast international experience within the technology sector and has previously worked as a Project Director at Rejlers Oy. Before that he has worked as a Risk Management Expert in YIT, as a Business Development Manager in NesteJacobs (engineering services), Department Manager for Project and Risk and Construction Management in Pöyry Chemical Business Area, as well as with major technology suppliers like Metso and Andritz, among others.
