Empower has set an ambitious goal in growing the Baltics business especially in the high voltage area, fiber optics and renewables. To succeed, this requires for smooth cooperation across the Group’s Baltic companies. To best support the profitable growth and cooperation in the Baltics Empower Group will nominate Mr. Veensalu to lead the Group operations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as VP Baltic division.
– Already now Empower subsidiaries cooperate in the large Baltics projects e.g. in the Harku-Sindi high voltage project. In the future, Group expects to gain a better competitive edge as the Baltic division can bring the flexible resource pool into the table. We have won significant opportunities in the market and are expecting 2020 to become the best year in Estonia for the past 5-6 years. I warmly welcome Margus to rejoin Empower and feel that as he has been part of the Empower team before, we have a solid experience and knowhow at place to lead the Baltic operations, says Jari Onniselkä, Empower Group CEO and President.
