Empower Group's response to coronavirus
The coming weeks and months will challenge societies and the business world in many ways. In order to ensure the health and safety of our employees, partners and customers as well as the continuity of our business during these exceptional circumstances, we have implemented several measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In early March, Empower set up a pandemic preparedness team. Key tasks of the team include monitoring the coronavirus situation and communicating guidelines to personnel and stakeholders. The team consists of the management of the company and the responsible persons from different business areas.
Since last week, we have been instructing our personnel to work remotely wherever possible, move face-to-face customer meetings online and avoid unnecessary travel. However, given the nature of our business, not everyone can work from home. For this reason, we make sure that the hygiene of our facilities and vehicles is constantly maintained. As a responsible employer, we have also emphasized the importance of hand washing and observing for possible coronavirus symptoms.
Currently, all our services operate normally. The most important thing for us at Empower is the health and safety of our personnel, customers and partners - with good cooperation and effective operating models we can overcome the challenges even during these exceptional times.
